I placed an order on 9/5/22 (holiday)…

I placed an order on 9/5/22 (holiday) and as of today the order is "in the warehouse ready for shipment". The website states most orders ship within 24 hours.

I called to cancel and they stated because it is "in the warehouse ready for shipment" they are unable to cancel.

Also, when I visited the site to place the order I received a "welcome email with a 20% discount code", yet when I placed the order with that code the discount wasn't applied.

So if I want to return the items upon receipt I'll have to pay to return them and if I refuse the order then I'll be charged a restocking fee.

What a racket!!!

In addition right after I placed my first order and before I even received confirmation of the charge, I started getting emails with "special offers" etc.

I purchased the regular Hair piece that I always purchase this time a different one Was sent You

This is the biggest rip off Company that I have ever dealt with I have never had a problem up until just 2 months ago a month ago actually I had to send something back because they sent the wrong hairpiece and in doing so so I hadn't received the new one they told me they would give me $5 back out of a $30.99 purchase I don't want $5 back I want the hair piece that I ordered supervisor I heard supervisor got on I'll give you $7 back these people are crazy you can't even understand them Rather from China the Philippines I don't know which I'm trying to find out that's how I ran into this Don't buy anything from them because they will steal from you

Ordered an Evan wig about 4 years ago

Ordered an Evan wig about 4 years ago. It was perfect and looked great and I received many compliments. Ordered it once again and it did not come in the Soft Pewter color anymore. Also looked as if if someone had tried to cut and shape it at home. I actually thought I would try a third time because I wanted to continue wearing THAT wig. I had liked it so much. It doesn’t look like the original Evan wig. Hair doesn’t lay down where it should but permanently twists at odd angles, looks like it has split ends etc. After I read some of these reviews, I knew! Paula Young doesn’t even deserve a two rating. Never again for me.😤😡🙁

Never again I've had enough of the crap 1 star is too many

I ordered a wig from Paula Young only to wait a month and I never received it, called them was told card was never charged so now I reordered. Fast forward ordered 2 wigs on Monday night, card was charged $123 then on Tuesday evening my card was refunded and recharged $138 I know it's only $15 but it's the point of being charged one price and then when I called they said oh the price is only an estimate! An estimate of what? I've had enough. Never never ever again! Bull crap scamming company with mediocre wigs!

I ordered the Delicate Touch human hair…

I ordered the Delicate Touch human hair in July. IT is so thin it's not usable,all the wefting shows thru it.Will not hold any style after it was washed.Very poor quality. Definitely would not recommend.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. THEY LIE AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. SOMETHING HAS CHANGED RADICALLY FOR THE WORSE IN THIS COMPANY IN THE LAST YEAR. MY WIFE HAS BEEN A SATISFIED CUSTOMER FOR OVER 5 YEARS - OUR MOST RECENT ORDER WAS A DISASTER. ORDERED 10 JULY. CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD 10 JULY. SAID THEY SHIPPED 13 JULY, BUT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WAS THEY CREATED A PITNEY BOWES SHIPPING LABEL AND NEVER DELIVERED THE HAIRPIECE TO THE POST OFFICE. AFTER TWO EMAILS (NO RESPONSE) AND TWO PHONE CALLS, TODAY I WAS TOLD I HAVE TO WAIT TWO MORE DAYS AS THEIR 'POLICY' IS THEY CANNOT ISSUE A REFUND OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT UNTIL 14 DAYS FROM THE DATE THEY SAY THEY SHIPPED, WHICH THEY DID NOT. SAVE YOUR MONEY. FIND ANOTHER SUPPLIER - THEY'RE OUT THERE. SAD BUT LIFES TOO SHORT AND THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

Very unsatisfied with them

Very unsatisfied with them. After years of buying wigs from them I had a major problem. Purchased wigs with a promo of buy one get one. After placing the order I saw that the order showed only one wig. Called customer service 5 minutes after placing order and was told that I would receive the 2nd wig. Now they said no. The advertisement that says customer satisfaction is there top priority is nothing but BS. I’ll never order from them again or do I recommend anyone else orders from them either. There has to be a wig company out there that does care about there customers.

The worst service experience that I have encountered in years.

I purchased a wig, and it was awful even though the photos looked great.
I called several times to return the item in the evening however was unable to articulate my point I guess and decided to call today during the day.
The treatment I received was unbelievable, and I was passed on from one person to another and 54 minutes later I got the Queen Supervisor DONNA and she was just as awful as the wig itself.
I have no idea who or why she was given that title.
The wig was $126.00 + Tax, plus Covid Charge. Now they are asking me pay for the return which is approximately $15.00 to mail it back and they will charge me 20% restoking fee? Of $25.00
I will lose $40.00 to return an item that I could have purchased on Ebay (same exact maker and style) for $108.00
Before you purchase from them copy & paste the item name/make and you will find it on Ebay for less, no covid charge, free shipping and free returns.
Shame on me for thinking that Paula Young would be reputable Business.

Horrible wig! Wont give refunds! Do not shop at Paula Young unless it's Halloween. I cut the tag off the wig so can't return!

Buyer beware!!

Deceiving business. Purchased during bogo promotion and total with tax and shipping came to $57.79. I have a detailed receipt. Received a phone call today stating there was a glitch and they didn’t charge me for shipping which in fact they did. The agent said my detailed email was incorrect and said I would have to pay the difference or cancel the order.. no exceptions.. had I not been at work I would have gone to her mgmt.. I have purchased many wigs from them but they have now lost a customer. Buyer beware.

Cannot answer as I have not as yet received anything. Their products and service were good years ago, but it appears that is now a thing of the past.
